Terms and Conditions
“We”, “Us” and “Our” refers to Wheels in Motion.
“You” refers to the Customer.
Any reference to the Business is referring to the work, nature, intentions or other of Wheels in Motion.
1. Appointments:
Where practicable, we will endeavour to meet your appointment time within a reasonable timescale. If in the event of delays over 15 minutes we will contact you directly to inform you of the delay. We reserve the right to rearrange appointments to suit the needs of the business. On any occasion, this will be carried out by first contacting you to reach a mutually agreeable time.
2. Bicycle Condition
All bikes presented for repair must be reasonably clean and free from excessive mud, animal faeces or other harmful contaminants. Bicycles presented in this way will be subject to an additional cleaning charge of £10.00 prior to any work being undertaken.
3. Payment Terms and conditions:
Full payment is required at the time of all works being completed.
Payment by cash or electronic payment is accepted. We do not accept £50.00 notes
We do not provide credit facilities.
Parts ordered for specific work must be paid for in full prior to the order being placed. Parts ordered in error by the customer will not be refunded.
4. Guarantee:
If, for any reason, you are not happy with the work carried out, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
We will rectify any faults caused by our own work or a defective/incorrect part fitted by us, free of charge at your convenience (where reasonably practicable). We will only guarantee parts supplied and fitted by Wheels in Motion.
Any damage or faults resulting in rider error or accidents after any work has been carried out will not be covered be covered by Wheels in Motion.
Our work is covered for a 30-day period, commencing from date of all works carried out.
Usual wear and tear of components, tyres, cables etc will not be covered by any guarantee offered.
5. Pricing
All prices are for labour only, unless otherwise stated.
All prices including parts supply and fitting will be agreed prior to any work being carried out. Any additional faults found during inspection or servicing will be discussed with you before any work is carried out.
Operating area is within 10 miles of DN21, although travel further field will be subject to a fee of 50 pence per mile.
6. Returns Policy
Wheels in Motion offer a 30-day guarantee for labour of new fitted parts, the manufacturer’s guarantee may also apply for parts if it is found to be a manufacturer’s defect.

7. Hand built wheels:
All wheels built to order will be subject to a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of ordering with full and final payment at the time of completion. It is recommended that hand-built wheels be returned for a free service check after 500 miles or 1-month, whichever occurs first.
Special order bicycles are subject to a 50% non-refundable deposit being placed at the time of ordering with full payment being made on collection. It is recommended that the bicycle be returned after 500 miles or 1 month for a free service and safety check.
