About Us
I am Dave, a 53-year-old cycling enthusiast and bicycle repair technician based in Gainsborough. I discovered my love of cycling from an early age, quickly learning that having two wheels gave me the freedom to explore… it also taught me that when things go wrong, it can be a very long walk home! For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed ‘tinkering and fettling’ with my bikes – the satisfaction I get from taking a broken bike and giving it new life is immense. That passion grew into a real calling, and in 2022, I launched Wheels in Motion to help keep your bikes in top condition and your wheels turning.
Wheels in Motion is a company designed to make your life easier. As a Cytech Level 2 trained bicycle repair technician, I am a part of the Association of Cycle Traders, the largest cycle trade organisation in the UK.
I take the utmost care of your bicycle, treating your pride and joy as if it were my own. I utilise my knowledge of cycle maintenance gained from years of experience working on various bikes to ensure that your bicycle is maintained to the highest standard. As a mobile cycle technician, I can come to you; most repairs can either be completed on your own property, or I can repair it at my well-equipped workshop.
At the end of August 2024, I completed my Cytech Technical E-bike qualification, making me one of the few technicians in the Gainsborough area that is qualified and insured to undertake work on E-bikes. . Whether it’s a bicycle or an E-bike, you can trust me to deliver expert service every time.
